Opportunities

The EUISS follows an independent and separate recruitment process from other EU institutions agencies. Unless otherwise indicated, opportunities are open only to nationals of European Union member states. Traineeships at the EUISS will be advertised in advance on this page. Please note that the EUISS will only consider applications in response to published vacancy notices and does not respond to unsolicited applications.

    From September 2018, the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) is seeking to recruit six trainees to assist in its research and outreach activities.

  • Call for expression of interest – Service Provider for 'EU Cyber Direct'

    The EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) is seeking an EU-based company for website development for the new EU Cyber Direct project. The offer should address technical/visual specifications described in the Specifications Document. In addition, the offer should include the cost of 50 hours of support services for the period following the launch of the website to 3 months after the termination of the research project (February 2021).

  • Associate Analyst in the field of cyber diplomacy

    The EUISS seeks to hire an Associate Analyst who will join a highly qualified and motivated team engaged in the implementation of the EU-funded project ‘EU Cyber Direct’. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to participate in research, policy support, and outreach activities undertaken in the framework of the project.

    The EUISS seeks to hire an experienced EU-Sub-Saharan Africa Analyst who will report to the Director and join a highly qualified and motivated team engaged in providing relevant expertise to both EU/national officials and the wider public – through publications, seminars and other activities.

  • Events and Communication Assistant

    The EUISS seeks to hire an Events and Communication Assistant who will join a highly qualified and motivated team engaged in providing relevant expertise to both EU/national officials and the wider public – through publications, seminars and other activities.

  • Call for expression of interest – EUISS Cyber Capacity Building Task Force

    The EUISS is seeking up to five experts to participate in its Cyber Capacity Building Task Force. The Task Force aims to develop a policy overview and provide operational guidance that will serve as a 'cyber capacity building toolkit’ for the EU's external cooperation programmes.

  • Call for expression of interest – Graphic Designers roster

    The EUISS is seeking to create a roster of qualified experts in the field of graphic design and data visualisation who may be involved in its projects, publications and activities in Paris and Brussels.
