High level seminar on peacekeeping

On 13 July, the EUISS, together with the UN Liaison Office on Peace and Security (UNLOPS) and the Centre on International Peace Operations (ZIF), co-hosted a seminar on peacekeeping in Brussels. The event aimed to enhance peer learning between existing European troop-contributing countries to UN peace operations and potential future European contributors, and to take stock of recent developments and achievements of EU-UN cooperation in the field of peacekeeping. The event brought together 50 representatives from the UN Departments of Peacekeeping Operations and Field Support, the EEAS, EU member states and the think tank community.
